UPDATE: SERVICE NO LONGER ABLE TO BE COMPLETED IN CA, NY AND PA
Update: As of March 25, 2019 process service has been deemed essential in New York and service is able to be completed.
DGR Legal is fully operational at this time and we are all concerned about all of you. We are here to serve for you throughout this difficult time. We’re all in this together and want you to know that we will continue to monitor all of the changes that take place hour by hour and report our findings along the way.
As of this morning, California, New York and Pennsylvania have put orders into place requiring non-essential personnel to remain at home.
Under the orders, essential personnel are limited to: shipping, media, warehousing, grocery and food production, pharmacies, healthcare providers, utilities, banks and related financial institutions and other supply chain providers.
As such, process servers will no longer be allowed to be out to effectuate service in these states and all services will be on hold.
FORECLOSURE SERVICES ON HOLD
Additionally, President Trump has declared the suspension of evictions and foreclosures on properties backed by the Department of Housing and Urban Development until the end of April.
As such, all foreclosures related to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Federal Housing Administration- and Veterans Affairs-backed loans have been put on hold.
We will continue to keep you updated on service status. DGR Legal continues to be fully operational in all other states and will continue to complete service where it is not restricted by State or Federal order.
